Dartmouth Community Bookshop celebrated its 5th Birthday at an event in Dartmouth Library on December 5 2016. We also celebrated Winnie-the-Pooh's 90th Birthday! Kathryn Aalto gave a talk for Pooh loving adults about her book "A walk through the forest that inspired the Hundred Acre Wood". See our BLOG for details and pics.
DARTMOUTH COMMUNITY BOOKSHOP is run as a not-for-profit community co-operative, professionally staffed by an experienced manager with volunteer help. Buy your books from our friendly independent bookshop where you can browse and enjoy the atmosphere.
We have a good selection of NEW books for children of all ages and adults. Our stock is changing all the time. To browse, order and buy new books, come and see us. Orders usually arrive in 24-48 hours. We are happy to give advice and share our favourite reads.
We also stock greeting cards, unique local postcards and Naxos CDs. We sell and redeem National Book Tokens.

How to find us...
The bookshop is located directly opposite The Cherub Inn, at 12 Higher Street, TQ6 9RB, up the steps from the site of the former Harbour Bookshop on Fairfax Place which we set up to replace when it closed (now a gallery). Click the link above to see the location on a map.
